Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Sync My Calls - how it works, security, supported devices, and more.
Sync My Calls connects your recording device to your CRM. We use carrier call detail records (CDRs) to match each transcript to the right contact by phone number, then automatically create activity records in your CRM.
We support hardware recording devices that provide cloud-based transcript access. Connect your device during setup and we will configure the integration for your specific device type.
We integrate with Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, and Pipedrive. Each integration syncs transcripts and AI summaries as activity records linked to the matching contact.
Yes. Connect your Salesforce org to Sync My Calls. We automatically match each transcript to the right Salesforce contact using carrier call data and create a Task record with the full transcript and AI summary.
Transcripts are stored as Task records (Activity) in Salesforce. The Subject contains the call summary, the Description contains the full transcript, and the Task is linked to the matching Contact, Lead, or Account.
We match transcripts to CRM contacts using carrier call detail records (CDRs). Your carrier logs the phone number for every call. We correlate this with your recording timestamps to identify the contact, then sync to your CRM via direct API integration — no Zapier required.
Unmatched transcripts appear in your Sync My Calls dashboard. You can manually assign them to a CRM contact or create a new contact from the call details.
Gong, Otter, and Fireflies record calls digitally via VoIP or meeting platforms. Sync My Calls works with hardware recording devices for in-person and cell phone calls that those tools cannot capture, getting those transcripts into your CRM.
Only call detail records: phone numbers, timestamps, and durations. We do not access call recordings, voicemails, text messages, or billing information from your carrier.
We support Verizon Business and T-Mobile for Business accounts. Consumer carrier accounts do not provide the CDR access required for contact matching.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We process transcripts in memory and do not retain copies after syncing to your CRM.
Typically within 15 minutes of your call ending, depending on transcription processing time and carrier CDR availability.
Yes. You can revoke Sync My Calls access from your carrier portal, CRM settings, and device account at any time. We do not retain your data after disconnection.
